I agree with you that the Cardinals are the best team in the division, but to think that just because they have been wrong about the Cubs in the past makes them wrong again now? That doesn't seem logical to me at all. This is still the same Cub's team minus Bradly and Harden. I agree with getting rid of Bradly(who doesn't), but Byrd isn't the big name that's going to get you into the World Series. Their pitching staff is inconsistent with Zambrano pitching well one day and then then pitching just terribly. It'll defiantly be interesting, but I am not getting my hopes up for these guys
Overall I would hate to be the guy to make this decision. Adrian Gonzalez is an amazing player and would be a great addition to any team, but I don't see the Sox trading away probably one of the better up and coming players. It's a high risk and reward for the Sox. It'll be interesting to see what they decide to do, if anything.
This game makes My friends that love Purdue and me fight all the time. I'm confident Purdue will win Just cause IU has played like two different teams this year
Couldn't agree more. The Bears need some fire on the sideline, somebody who will make them work hard. let's hope we can get that from the defensive side also
I really love this signing. I think Martz will be the fire the Bears need to have lit under their ass
If Sosa ever came back to the Cubs I would certainly not cheer him. Any athlete that used steroids has lost all respect by me. It's something that I just want to forget.
As a Bears fan I am also hoping for a better year next year. They have the talent. They just to need execute better both offensively and defensively. I always try to stay optimistic, and I see hope in the team so maybe it won't be some blind fan love. I think the Bears can make the playoffs next year. We'll just have to see what happens next year.
Those are some very good points. The wide open Marvin Harrison also made me mad. It always sucks when you see a receiver that wide open, but it wasn't Rivera's fault. The safety came in instead of covering the deep ball, a mistake that cost the momentum to shift towards the Colts. If the Bears had a better offense that year I think they would've won. I just think being mediocre for 3 years after a run that took you to a Super Bowl deserves some overhaulin. The Bears just did some light cleaning.
I can see where your coming from on Urlacher's injury. That fact doesn't overshadow the fact that I just don't think he's that good of a coach. He had one lucky year because he had Rivera calling the shots. I am just sick of his same old speal that they will try harder and play better next week.
The only reason the Bears went to the Super Bowl was because of Ron Rivera. After they canned Rivera the defense has slowly declined. I was optimistic about seeing Lovie call the defensive plays, but that too didn't work out. It just angers me that they got rid of Rivera since he was the sole reason the Bears even had a chance.
