I'm not a Bruno fan at all, but she should not sue him for what happened while she fell. Based on the above story, he was nowhere near her, therefore he didn't push her down. He is a bizarre person and the organization should learn its lesson from the incident. Move on, lady.
You might want to add Bob Hope to the list of great comics. But they never reached the low the Wanda Sykes reached by saying they hoped someone suffer kidney failure. The jokes may have been sexist, but never wished death on anyone. In this PC climate, a sexist joke might end someone's career, though.
Good point! Now, that would have been a good one-liner for the WHCA. HAHAHAHAHA
No, the Liberal poster child would have aborted the child and denied him the right to life because he was "inconvenient" and she "wasn't ready". Unplanned pregancies happen to all kinds of families, Christians, Jews, agnostics, and athiests. How we react to the unexpected defines our character. At that point, the focus is on the child, not the woman's choice.
Does anyone else see the irony and hypocrasy? With Rush's comedy, you will never hear him wish for anyone's vital organs to fail. Shame on you, Wanda. And shame on everyone who laughed at her lame joke.
She had her chance to get in his face, but chose rather to make a joke about a man who went to rehab to beat an addiction. And that is a scandal in they eyes of someone from Hollywood? They love to see their own conquer their addictions and come back victoriously. But not Rush Limbaugh!
Sykes has always been more rude than funny. Apprently she didn't get the memo that this event is to roast the President.
roger34: Exactly! Nothing racist or political about it.
roger34: Whether or not the guy can SING is irrelevant. The point is when a talented woman is with an insecure man, no matter how much talent he is blessed with, her own days (on the record charts or on this earth) could be numbered.
