I did, were a lot of comments about the small flip, gone with the wind. Makes my first comment a little bit of a head scratcher now.

I think the better field to land over there is Wax Orchards, but I don't know if it is still in operation. It is a bit further from town though, like five miles more. Always good to take advice from people that know.

I sure hope they find some other evidence that he did it other than his confession, a mentally ill person confessing to something that happened in the neighbor hood does have a suspicious smell, but also could very well be true for the same reason. Lets hope if he is confessing he also gives them some other evidence that it is him before they convict some one like this. Too often we end up with the mentally ill in prision for crimes they did not commit because they have delusions brought on by their illnes.

But, as you probably noticed when you decided to take off north, was that to the south you have to climb rapidly to miss the power lines and trees along the road at the south end of the runway. Definetly not for novices, and they have had a few fatalities there over the years.

Depends on the weapon and the caliber and the type of ammo. I saw a person shot in the head, bullet went in one side and out the other, but the path of the bullet was under the scalp, did not penetrate the skull. 32 caliber auto. One hard head. I guess, also depends on the angle and placement of the shot as well.

And your husband comes home and starts playing around with his pistol? I don't know these people either, but I don't think he just got off swing shift.

Brain kicks in, yes, if these people claiming these low profit margins for the oil companies are actually talking about what the service station profits are, 2 cents might be true in some cases but four to eight cents is more typical for the service station operator. That is why most service stations today are also mini marts. But even the ones with with oil company logo,s are not necessarily the oil companies. The huge profits are not on the retail end where you and I put gas in our vehicle, it is way before then. I even suspect that when the price of the oil coming out of the ground goes up they are making a profit there and are loving the price hike. The higher the prices along the way the more they make, because as I said earlier, they set their prices to make 16 percent profit. Sixteen percent profit on $4 gas is double the profit of $2 gas.

Wrong, Washington state does not have an addional sales tax on gas. If it did it would be per dollar, not per gallon, so $4 a gallon gas you would see an addtional 36 cents tax. Take a look at the dial when you pump your next fill up, you will not see any calculation for sales tax, nor will you find a sales tax on your bill. Also, the figure I have heard has not been broken down on a per gallon basis for oil company profits, but the arguement they use is that yes, they are making 16 percent profit, that is typical for a business which would equal about 64 cents a gallon if it was broken down equally between all their products.

Good question, I lived less than 60 miles from Ephrata as the crow flies, and we had lots of these little guys. I am not convinced that they were ever endangered, or that they are that much different than the ones the next county over. We saved some that we accidently disturbed their nest, and turned the little ones loose once they got old enough to survive on their own. They still have a hunting season on them in Idaho I do believe, Idaho is about 120 miles away as the crow flies from where this is. I have driven by this spot, there is a neat ranch in the bottom of the canyon there that has suffered due to not being allowed to graze their cattle up on the sage land. This is about 20 miles due east of Cresent Bar, or the Trinidad Trading post.
