Is it morally right for me to me decent? Does the biological process of evolution obligate me to be decent?
Hopefully this example shows you the futility of relativism.

For the record, I do accept evolutionary theory as well as big bang cosmology. It is the atheist who has a problem with the big bang.

You both seem blissfully unaware of your own self-refuting stance on this issue. I'm happy to side with the vast majority of philosophers on this one.
Just remember that next time you go to make ANY moral statement about anyone you have to keep quiet since your moral relativism doesn't allow you to make such statements.

Until you provide this you needn't expect any further response.
Regardless, your question is one of moral epistemology and says nothing about moral grounding or ontology which is what this whole topic is all about.
(By the way I am now typing into a section of screen about a cm wide - not fun!)

I am not a moral absolutist. An absolutist may say in this case that it is always permissable to kill. The objectivist has to take the situational context into account. If someone was about to shoot all your family it may be permissable to kill in order to save your family.
Similarly, in the scenario you mention is may be permissible to kill if it was to bring about a better good.

It is the moral absolutist who says "you should not kill" regardless of situation, not the objectivist. This is a fundamental misunderstanding between the two.
