Same here la, I have virtually given up commenting on MI coz many of my comments are never published despite staying on the subject matter at hand. I dont know what the so-called administrators are doing, but it's obvious they are simply using their own whims and fancies picking the comments they like. Why bother to ask for comments when many are simply brushed aside? Your readers take time and effort to put their thoughts down on paper, but the comments are not published because of the administrators. Look at MalaysiaKini for instance, they ask for comments and publish all regardless (and it appears almost instantly too). Even if this is not published it's fine, at least my feedback has reached you

Can't say I blame him la...that guy used it first. You can't use expletives against another, and expect to be treated with kiddy gloves afterwards.

Jailing the journalist? Going after the messenger as usual coz most of the time the journalists are only reporting what the politicians said or done.

It's not surprising UMNO/BN finds it hard to comprehend the concept of choice for PM because in BN there is no choice for PM except the president of UMNO.

Quote "The deputy minister in the prime minister’s department said the important thing is that the government is serious about tackling corruption.

“Most importantly, the government is serious to eradicate bribery,” he said."

The problem is, the people responsible to tackle corruption are the biggest culprit of corruption

Ya ya, it's only a perception, just like the rising crime in the country. Malaysia is actually the safest country in the world, and UMNO is actually the least corrupted party in history.

If the AES is scrapped, the government has to compensate the company for works incurred in putting up all the infrastructures. This will run into tens of millions of ringgit. Either way, whether the AES is on or off, the people still end up paying.

Quote "Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo has dismissed critics who panned his apology to political foe Ronnie Liu in court yesterday to settle the latter’s defamation suit against him, saying it will not affect Umno or the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition as he is no longer a state leader"

In short, this mean for any current UMNO/BN state leader, it's unacceptable for them to apologise even if they have defamed or lied about someone.
