Hello Mr. Proyas,

Being an aspiring screenwriter myself, what are some things you might recommend to get a script written well and in a way that i might be able to one day do this for a living? (I'm still only in high school now but any information would help me greatly as I am going to college in the fall to study aspects of film.)

Thank you for your time and taking time out of your schedule to blog for the past few week on this site.

I find it ridiculous that any fanboy should criticize this at all because I highly doubt that we could have gotten somethhing this faithful from anyone else. I swear all fanboys do is sit there and complain because he omitted some frame from the book. As if any of you could do any better. I would hope anyone here would stop and think that if it was from any other director we would have gotten an hour and a half shit fest. Zack did the best anyone would do and I think people need to stop bashing this and move on

it was great. it remained so faithful to the novel it was like i could watch a shot and know exactly the picture from the book. the soundtrack was haunting and remains with you for quite a while. sure there were the few details left out or changed like the absence of hover bikes or rorschach eating sugar cubes but overall it was great. i didnt like the kidnappers death or the absence of hollis' death either because the kidnapper's death was great in the novel and hollis' death was crucial to build character development for nite owl. and anyone who didnt like the ending because the squid wasnt there, technically it was because if you look at the screens the bombs are all called "SQUIDS"

slumdog millionaire or milk will win. from what i hear milk is phenomenal as is slumdog millionaire. im seeing slumdog this weekend so then i will know pretty much which films have a chance and which ones dont considering ive seen or will see every other movie on there except milk. the dark knight is great and all but i feel like america's youth has blown it way out of proportion. heath ledger's performance was fantastic but that doesnt mean you should say "why so serious" or "you wanna know how i got these scars" all the time. i think it still deserves the nomination though as for

"because hes the hero gotham deserves, but not the one it needs right now. so we'll hunt him because he can take it. because hes not a hero. he's a silent guardian. a watchful protecter. a dark knight." jim gordon the dark knight. i swear i can listen to it a billion times and it never gets old. plus the shirt line from forgetting sarah marshall is great too
