What happened to Guy Demel? Has he done a Hitz the Hammer on us? I'm going for a 2-0 win today. Maynard will grab one and I think its either a Tomkins set peice special or a No nonsense Mark Noble penalty.

Also, Faye...what a difference he makes! Anyone goes near him with a football and he just says...no thanks...and smashes it up the field, no nonsense, no faffing about. just a good old fashioned put your foot through it and get rid of the danger. for that alone I retain him for next year for the bedding back in season back where we belong.

I agree with JonnyPD. I can't wait to see us without Nolan taking up an automatic spot in midfield, but IMO, even if we win the next 3 games 5 - 0 he will still get back in the side. Noble & Diop are our best pairing I think. Noble is a real grafter and has a good pass on him, whereas Diops bread and butter is winning the ball and laying it off, keep it simple. Collison & Lansbury would be the replacements if needed.

Also, alot of people seem to have Vaz Te down as a winger...he's not! He is a Centre foward, he can play out wide on the left...is the same way Baldock can. Not very well in comparison to playing down the middle. He gets alot of his goals with his head and timing his runs into the box to get on the end of crosses is what he is best at. Although I do think that playing him out wide on the right would be an idea, with Taylor on the left he'd be deadly getting on the end of his crosses.

Vaz te is not really a whipping the ball into the box player...he's more the sort of player you want in the box, he scores alot of goals with his head! Being on the right will be good news for us tho, with him making runs into the box and Taylor putting the crosses in! trust me!

big difference? Brooking, Charlton and Moore didn't have reality tv, xbox's, internet and all that jazz. they had a football.

the players should look at themselves rather than looking for someone to lead them in my opinion. Sometimes as a player you need to say look, I'm having a bad spell, get someone else in that can pick the team up and I'll go back to the training ground and apply myself and wait for my chance again. Thats my opinion!
