I've been very happily and madly in love with my high school sweetheart and father of our wonderful daughter for almost 25 years. I call him my perfect love and I'm his kitten. Me-American black/Black Feet Indian/Puerto Rican & more (proud mutt), He-British/Haitian/Dutch.

Love is not a color/race/ethnicity. It's shared values, faith, respect, and a core friendship that binds you soul-to-soul.

Miss Scott, you can racially restrict love if you like, just accept that YOU have limited your search for love. Not me, Mr. Myers, white women, white men, or anyone else. Just you. Those who share your point of view can share your frustration and loneliness. Your friend is happy and I'm happy for him. He seems to have found unconditional love.

He's terrified at how many blacks WERE at the Restoring Honor rally to show their love for God and country. And it was done with a belief that all men ARE created equal and endowed by the Creator with certain inalienable rights...

I couldn't attend the rally but I am fully supportive of the tea party movement and have attended local rallies.

I understood the context of the clip when you released it. It was a highlight of how attendees of the NAALCP function approved of the statements of bias by Mrs. Sherrod. They did this not knowing how she would continue her speech. What some liberals are touting as Mrs. Sherrod's racial redemption was really something sinister and dangerous. She was touting class warfare. The fandance to make Mrs. Sherrod the spotlight is fascinating.

I've heard that crap spouted by black panther-loving marxists before. See, I grew up in Chicago and spent time in Hyde Park, observing the very radical, redistributionist, by-any-means-necessary, 'it's-always the white man's fault', groupthink mentality. I sat in classes with teachers who disparaged this great country while touting concepts that I came to understand as communist/socialist/leninist. This attempted indoctrination took place from grade school thru high school and college. I have confronted teachers about their bias. When their radicalism is exposed, they shift gears and play the victim. I'm not fooled. Thank God that I was raised to be an individual and not succumb to the collective.

Oh and for all the liberals flaks sent to astroturf this site - this American conservative (who happens to be black) is speaking from up close, real life experiences. Thank you so much standing up to the divisive elements that have used the race card for cover for TOO LONG.

I'll tell you something. As a conservation female I have been blessed with parents who taught me that people are people. Judge them by the way the treat you as you are judged by how you treat them.

Skin color and ethnicity are things I just don't care about. What matters is who you are at your core, in your soul, in your heart.

I have friends who are not black and they'll talk openly with me about race but are afraid to do so with others. I've told them for years that they can't be afraid of being called racist. You and so many others are a wonderful example of what it means to be AN AMERICAN. Be comfortable in your skin and KNOW who are. I've lost so many friends who are liberals because I don't hide my conservative views and don't back down to name-calling. I want people in my life who KNOW what I stand for and let me live my life honestly.

Take a guess at how much grief I get when people find out about my absolute love of Rush Limbaugh. In a liberal world, a black woman shouldn't admit such things.

But you know what, I love and support anyone who loves this great country and commits to being a productive member of society. Hey liberals, race doesn't matter to conservatives.
