As a Southern transplant with a lot of guns in the house (hunters) I can tell you wild duck can be nasty. The duck fat idea is a great one, Williams Sonoma sells it and it rocks on roasted potatoes too. But the cheapest version of making wild duck is bottled Italian salad dressing. Seriously, marinade it for hours and grill it on a hot fire quickly, don't over do it. I swear it is delicious. It will never taste like "restaurant duck" I'm sure Bourdain has some saying about dressing up a hooker...trust me keep the wild duck out of the French recipes...

Thank you for saying this. As a military mom McCain was a fine choice, but honestly, he is my dad's age, and I worry about him driving! Palin, who is my exact age was not ready for the spot light. She should have been in front of the cameras long before she was announced to see how she handles it. Needless to say, McCain would have made a better choice. This party desperately needs a candidate who is a peer to Obama. Age is not our friend any more here. The 25-45 year old lefties are having families, fighting this terrible job market, paying taxes, this is when they are most likely to see the light and make the jump, but those on the fence are going for the celebrity (it is America after all), so we need to find our own, young, articulate, conservative celebrity. Newt would be a terrible choice. We need a Conservative who does their job well and isn't a mouth piece for the news. Sorry, but this has to be a well thought out plan. It is obvious the best man doesn't win. It is all in packaging.
