The $7 trillion dollar number is Medicare over the first ten years after Bush's drug program, quoted by many economists and even initially mentioned by the CBO.

Face it, you guys had your eight years to exhaust all of your best ideas and plans - except for Social Security privatization, as if that would have worked, too - and now we are here. Your boy W had about a four honeymoon from the media ( can you remember back when they all sucked up to Rumsfield and talked about how tough he was???? Wow) and Obama hasn't even had a few months - give the man some time, even though your party is banking its next election on his (and our country's) failure.
You can mock him all you want - call him a fascist, communist, socialist - and it's just going to make you look sillier. The fact is guys like Breitbart and Drudge (and NBC, CBS, ABC, not including Fox as tthey were meant to be a propaganda tool) were doing their jobs by questioning Bush, we might not be here and you might not have Obama to piss on. Take some responsibility and let the adults try to fix things!

- Health Savings Accounts was your big fix to the health care problem, what a joke! Basically ensuring that any one who would have to join would need to enroll in a high-deductible plan, paying thousands up front so that they could maybe save a fraction of that in taxes. Wow, it really worked, too.
- Social engineering programs like federally funded abstinence and marriage programs. Love how Republicans and Conservatives are now protecting us from an intrusive government.
- Don't even get me started on warrantless wiretapping programs - I'm an "ends-justify-the-means" type of person and really have no problem with them, but pretty much a government expansion plan too, wasn't it? And I have a strong feeling most of you were defending Bush and Cheney, at this time, too.

Here was your side's great plan and effort during the time for fiscal discipline and government reduction:
- dramatically increasing the size of the Department of Education, federalizing education and making them a bloated bureaucracy filled with test-takers
- dramatic increase of Medicare, so that any one over the age of 60 could get free drugs from the Federal government for 20 years, sounds a little Socialist to me

I would ask you rewind back eight years ago - chatter was high, Al Quaeda was planning something big, Bush was getting briefings, and at least his predecessor had been able to override a broken intelligence system to shake the tree, get on every one's ass with constant meetings/communication, and avoid attacks on Millenium eve.
What was Bush doing at this time? Absolutely nothing , hanging out at his ranch. And about six weeks later, we had the worst attack ever on American soil, resulting in the loss of thousands of American lives and sinking our economy deeper into recesission, probably costing us hundreds of billions of dollars. But right, according to so many conservatives, the Bush presidency actually began then - he was allowed to futz around for eight months, talking tough about missile defense and China, while actually cowtowing them behind the scenes while they took our folks hostage. Funny how Obama hasn't been allowed to take it easy so much, as he has working his tail off since before inauguration on problems he inherited.

Such a whiny bunch on this site - I've seen it happen lately with Craig T. Nelson, Victoria Jackons, and Daniel Baldwin....don't think that some agents aren't actually encouraging this, at this point. "Yeah, just bash Obama, it'll go on YouTube, and you'll get some good exposure in front of a 2 million senior citizens....they go to the movies, too."
Where were all of you five years ago when W started a prescription drug program with a $7 trillion deficit behind it? Oh, right, you were in power and just didn't care about it. Funny how losing elections makes people care all of a sudden....

Musharref, Pakistan (his third in command is found to have been involved in a nuclear distribution network to other oppressive regimes and Bush doesn't even have the balls to demand that we question him???)
Saud family (remember W holding hands with the prince to beg for the price of oil to go down?)
Vladimir Putin (remember what W saw when he gazed in his eyes?)
China's regime (remember that embarassing hostage incident in spring of 2001?)
