Does PwnageTool 4.2 have a built-in 24kpwn 3GS profile for those of us with pwned old-bootrom 3GSes who wish to remain pwned? Or are we still stuck manually swapping profiles out? And, if so, do we need to use the previous version, or will the old profile still work on 4.2?

Cheers. I look forward to the release of PwnageTool for my lovely pwned 3GS. Gotta love that 24kpwn.

Also, congrats to dhlizard from his friends at the MacRumors forum.

Is there a reason those of us with old-bootrom 3GSes aren't allowed to use custom boot logos on our 24kpwn-ed phones?

Hmm. He didn't even say it was replicable, so I'm not getting my hopes up.

Perhaps, but, respectfully, that is not what I am asking. I'm just trying to figure out how to get the "Manage Sources" function in PT working. I am asking how to do something, not why I should not do it. Surely I am entitled to experiment with my phone if I want to?

I have been trying to add a repository in the "Cydia packages..." tab of PwnageTool, but I am not having any luck. Has anyone been able to add packages from a source source other than the four preconfigured ones?

If it charges from your computer, the problem is not your phone, but the charger. Take *that* to the geniuses and ask for a replacement.

I assume, though, that you mean PwnageTool, not QuickPwn. QuickPwn doesn't work with 3.1.2.

Of course I understood why you replied. You felt you had already been answered. My point is that you had not been fully answered because nobody had pointed out that your question was asinine. Of course a new version of the 4.26.08 unlock from the Dev Team isn't going to fix a problem with blackra1n from Geohot. Clearly, since you still don't understand how stupid your question is, dhlizard was more than justified in pointing out that you hadn't read it. Next time read the f-ing post and don't ask irrelevant and foolish questions.

Perhaps dhlizard wanted to comment on your apparent inability to read and comprehend a simple blog post? Personally, I think it warranted a comment.
