Not going to lie, it took me about 15 minutes to read this article because I kept scrolling back to the top to get another look at that picture! Picture aside, great article Rustyn!
All three of those guys could be considered "matchup independent." I personally, would never bench Beason, he's just too damn good. From there, it's really a toss-up between Hawthorne and Laurinaitis. It's hard to sit a guy like Laurinaitis, who seems to becoming into his own with a ridiculous 37 total tackles in 3 games. I'd roll with Beason and Laurinaitis this week. But you really can't go wrong with any of your choices. Good luck!
Thanks! Your article was pretty baller as well. That's the thing about having a team of such great writers; it keeps you fresh and on your game.
Thanks. Player position is everything in IDP. For instance, a SLB is typically lined up on the same side as the TE and therefore has a harder time getting through blocks to make tackles and their tackles numbers are usually less than other linebackers because of it. There are plenty of other examples depending on the defensive scheme the defense primarily uses. Maybe I'll write an article discussing each individual defensive position and it's value from a fantasy standpoint.
