Yes, it really was that easy! Originally I had wanted to buy a slow cooker for this purpose, but then Terry said he happened to have a Dutch oven that would do essentially the same thing. I might still want to buy a slow cooker eventually, but for now I'm really enjoying testing out the Dutch oven. Terry says Staub is the best, even better than Le Creuset.
Thanks, Kara! I\'ll have to check out Vanity Fair before. I feel like when I\'ve read it in passing I have really enjoyed the articles. :)
That is very true, good points. I remember my boyfriend put it in the dishwasher once and I got really worried it would ruin the cup, but it seemed fine. Really the only reason I bought it is because it gives me that cool feeling of walking around with a Starbucks cup without feeling guilty about all the paper waste (and expensive coffee!) that comes with being a regular there. This way I get my emotional fix with cheap but tasty homemade coffee. ;) I think I am slowly starting to wean myself off of that desire. Eventually I\'d like to trade it in for something a bit more functional, but for now it serves its purpose.
That looks like a really interesting book, I\'ll have to check it out! Thank you for the recommendation.
Yes, I\'ve been thinking of canceling cable myself. I hardly ever watch it and when I do, I zone out and just completely waste time. I have problems with Internet surfing as well, it\'s another black hole that I can get easily sucked into and waste hours on if I don\'t watch it. :)
The pictures are so beautiful. I'm surprised they were taken with a 2.5 megapixel camera!!! Looking at this post makes me excited to go hiking this weekend. :D

I go to Bikram Yoga in the Mission since it\'s a few blocks away from my office and I love it. The classes aren\'t too expensive to try ($14). I would love it if you would come with me one of these days! Let me know if/when you want to go sometime. :)
That is a good point, Aarti. It can often have a negative affect when we compare ourselves to others since it can be somewhat disconcerting. She seemed so calm and in control I couldn\'t help but be inspired by it, though! I like to think it created a positive swell of motivation within myself. :)
So true. I had such a good time at Bikram yoga and it was just what I needed to relax. :)
That is a great tip, Kara. I suck at pushups (maybe that is part of my problem?). ;) I am sure that really the most important thing is for me to do something, regularly, and keep at it. Still have to do my upper body workout tonight since I skipped out on it this morning. Whoops! I really need to get up earlier.
