I just can't take this anymore. Y'know, I made some comments on my state's major newspaper, the Minneapolis Star Tribune, concerning where this whole auto bailout BS is heading and here's the gist of what I said: Obama plans to force our auto industry to fail so that he and his henchmen can gobble it up, re-appropriate its resources, and give us the waste product we all will know as the Cars for Real American Progress, aka, CRAP! If you want CRAP in the future, raise your hand.

Here's some food for thought: why doesn't JAPAN do anything about this dictator? I mean, we let them have their military back.......where the hell is it?!

Life, in general scientific terms, may begin at conception--I'm willing to concede that point. But if you would put your Catholic dogma aside for just a moment, think on this: when does that life become HUMAN? What makes a human being human? It's not the composition of our physical makeup--our bodies, cells, etc.! The soul is what makes us human. You can take that to the bank.

I'm sorry, but I must disagree here. Life begins at consciousness, not conception. A human being is not a human being until it has the ability to reason and comprehend its surroundings; which, coincidentally begins in the womb at around 6 weeks.

HONESTY in everything they do and say. There is no reason for Americans to expect any less.

I want to thank you for your great concern, and your attentiveness to the world around you, and not just the world in your backyard. I like your idea of focus groups, as well as your idea of a national "day off", so to speak. I think this would really make a strong statement as long as we can publicize it well.

Playing off the concept that government actually works for us (and for the sake of example, let's just go with it), WE should be able to hold THEM accountable for every vote they cast, shouldn't we? Well I say that for those who are disenfranchised with their particular members of Congress (both houses), get together with other people from across your state who feel the same way. Connect with other states, who will then connect with other states and so on until all 50 states have assembled their disgruntled constituents.
Once this has been achieved, we pick a date when we know Congress will be in session, travel to Washington, D.C., march peacefully to the capitol, enter the congressional chambers (of the people's representatives) and call for a VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE in the "leadership" they are handing us.
Then, we go back home and hold special elections to replace these ineffective leaders with those who truly speak for the people--those with values!
As a wise man once said, "All it takes for evil to succeed is for good men to stand by and do nothing."
I believe that we are all good men (and women), but that the longer we sit by and do nothing, the more evil will be done upon us. We have to crush the head of this serpent while it is still in adolescence!
