that was a good question. the only thing i can say is that the people i trained with and served with in the 70's would not obey an illegal order. when i took the oath at 17 years old i took it very seriouly. i t was taken for life. not for the time i was on active duty. i believe a lot of veterans still feel that way. i also believe that is why this administration feels we are potential terrorist. because they know the oath we took and that we have that obligation in our hearts and minds, to protect the constitution from all enemies foreign or domestic.
excellent letter i hope he reads it.i hope he starts to realize that the tea parties wasn't a one time thing and that we have just gotten started, good letter, thanks for posting it.
i figured the would keep an eye on us. as long as we protest peacefully ,and everyone keeps their cool there's not a lot they can do about it. but use the media to try and make us look stupid. Which We Are Not. We Are PATRIOTS trying to save our country.
in response to the congress women of illinois i say. those of us who has served in the military and have participated in the tea party protest (and there will be many more)that it was a privalege to participate. We took an oath to serve our country and defend it against enemies foreign and domestic. that oath was not taken lightly nor only for the time i was on active duty, it was for life. What oath did you take? Was it to serve your country or sell it to china, or was it"we've dug a hole financially, instead of filling in the hole and crawling out we'll dig it deeper and bury our country?' was it to defend our constitution? we see what your doing in washington. so now you tell me who the dispicable one is? we know. and we know how the politicians vote on unread bills.we all have choices in life to bad about your choice. God Bless The United States and our Patriots.
i've read several replies to you post. this was not a republican movement or event, this was an American event. The tea party I attended today was average american people who are fed up with the spending and the fact that our politicians don't really represent us as intended. both dem. and rep. are so out of touch,and they seem to forget they are supose to be working for us ,not the other way around. they seem to forget this isn't just their country to do as they want .it's all the american's country ,we won't give it away or sell it. please keep involved.better experience next tea party, follow your heart. thank you for being involved

I feel we all need to go to washington and fire the ones who voted on those bills without reading them, what kind of represetation are we getting? also I think we all should send back the so called $, 13.00 that we are suppose to get on our paychecks starting in april. it's no more than hush money . and i don't feel like hushing
