Hi all, Thanks to the Dev Team for all of the continuing effort.

I am an expat living in China. I have a 3gs on 4.1 running the ipad baseband. I also have an i4 on 4.1 waiting for an unlock.

Next week I am taking a trip back to the States.

With that in mind, here are my questions.

In reading about the Gervey turbo sim, someone said it would work anywhere except China. First, does it work? Second anyone have any ideas about China? (China Unicom) Someone above says it works in Mongolia, but does not mention the carrier by name.

Also, for Stateside use, what pre-paid sim options are available. I'll be there for a couple of weeks, and don't really want to bite the bullet on roaming charges.

Anyone's thoughts on either question are appreciated.

Hail to the Dev team!
I need some advice.

I have an iphone 4 on 4.1 with bb. 02.10.04

Like many others, I have been waiting for the 4.3 release, and the unlock to follow.

My question is: Is it worth upgrading this week to 4.2 so that I can save the shsh blobs for future use, or should I wait for the unlock before upgrading anything?

What are your thoughts?

Thanks to all for your selfless effort and hard work to benefit humanity.

It may sound lame, but have you checked the mute switch next to the volume controls? Once upon a time that was the answer to my "no sound" issue. I was too embarrassed to tell anyone.
