I too have known Ron for many years. He is is a fine officer, bike rider and overall a great credit to the law enforcement family (I am not one myself) but you on the other hand, by the comments you have made over the last year when it comes to police situations you border on the edge of illiterate and disrespect.
With this person's past history, why was he even on the street to start with. Our criminal punishment system is in definite need of overhaul.
Then what exactly do you believe will happen over this? This is the real world and ambulance chasers are all over situations like this. I sympathize with these parents but at the same time walk a mile in these teacher's hoes. It also takes special people to attend these children.
Excellent points. Once again this may be one of those situations where the parents/ parent are not taking responsibility for the conduct of their child.
I agree with your comment and not boxerLvr. It is the sue crazy society we live in that is the problem along with the money hungry lawyers that have totally screwed up the discipline system in our schools. Even special ed kids need discipline.
Get a life. Just because something may have went sour in your past doesn't mean every issue like this the woman or man is guilty. Go by the facts not on the emotion.
Its funny that anti ND fans always complain about who they play but never about Michigan, Michigan state, or Ohio State. All the big time schools play lesser opponents to fill their schedules but also to their opponent these are big games that bring in big crowds to other wise empty stands. Notre Dame makes out their schedules 5 to 10 years in advance and teams change from year to year as has ND. BC has been ranked in the top 10 many times and obviously you forgot about BC beating ND when ND was ranked NO 1.

I know I am not the reason their revenue has dropped. I've never went there and have no intention of going. I need all the money I receive to sustain my home and wife during this time of economic recovery but if others want to go I have no problem with what they do with their own money. Everybody has different forms of entertainment but this isn't one of mine.
Not to take away from the seriousness of this situation but this kind of law suit is typical of own judicial system. Back in the mid 90s I was working for a company that was named in a class action suit against a steel mill in Gary. My company never did one hour of work or ever supplied anything to the mill but we were named because one our sales people made a call on the company and our company card was in the bosses Rolodex. We were dropped but it cost my company well over 20 thousand to get out of it. Now that's real justice isn't it?
They absolutely need to be punished when caught. This has went way beyond a practical joke(although it is never funny to desecrate a memorial) into the thousands of dollars. When convicted the perp should be held accountable for every single penny. IMO these punks will be caught because someone that does this is not very bright and will brag to their friends about "what a neat thing they did.
