Geeze, I watched the trailer (at work no less!) in this post and I'm choked up again!
Oh brother does it. I couldn't see - was too misty - then he wants a chicken sandwich! Fantastic film - I'm glad my wife and I saw it in the theater. I'll be buying the DVD no question.
Agreed. I'm just pleased that I didn't waste any money at the theater watching it (Netflix so with our volume the overall cost to see it was negligible).
I’m working that into my lexicon immediately! :-)
Exactly. Which is why all the apologies, to me anyway, mean pretty much nothing anymore. Everyone apologizes for everything even though they actually meant what they said. Sad really. I didn't have any respect for him in the first place as he's just a standard lefty spouting obscenities but geeze, at least stand up and say you meant every word you said (because he did).
What a drag! The easy reader isn't getting any pay from me. I was going to take my kid to see this one too.
While his boyfriend dresses as Keith Olbermann and spanks him.
Hopefully it makes it to Hulu! I've checked a few times (dumped cable a year ago - just too expensive) and they always link to the Discovery Channel website. I do hope Hulu gets the license for the show though.
I grew up in the East Bay (NE Bay actually: Vallejo) and after many years ended up working in SF. I left the state entirely two and half years ago and I can attest that being conservative in the SF Bay Area (especially as conservative as I am) was interesting. I remember well the burning of Bush in effigy and all the general nonsense in downtown SF and had altercations with mindless “demonstrators”. I’ll be glad to never return to that sewer.
When the audience started singing the National Anthem choked me up some as well. Very cool.
