Great They are all illegal but how will this curb the use? This type of action worked real well in stopping the use of drugs such as LSD, Cocaine Crack. However, I'm sure this will make Sen Schumer look good.

When Gov't competes with Private industry it has an ufair advantage.This city run ambulance will eventually put Kunkel ambulance out of business. Gov't sould only supply such a service when a need occurs and no one in the private sector can or is willing to provide it. The States own agency determined this is not the case.
It's been argued that this ambulance service makes money for the city. I contend that it's not Gov't function to make a profit. is Kunkle providing inadequate service? If not , why is utica in this business? Get out Utica, let the private sector work ! disolve this ambulance service if the extra money is needed look to cut unnecessary services.
if Gov't run services( like this ) are allowed to exist, then when do we stop letting the Gov't usurp business in the private sector?

Well, if salary reduction is no acceptable than, get rid of people until the tax increase is non-existant. if the union doesn't like it that take steps to get rid of it. Why should the tax payers suffer so this good-ole boy network can survive. Everyone wonders why utica is in the shape it's in, this is why.
