What is this country coming to when the President of the United States has the power to FIRE a CEO?!!! Are you kidding me with this? THAT is not Obama’s job!! Companies controlled by the Government? Is that really what we want here in this capitalistic country?! If this isn’t heading to socialism then I am wearing granny panties!!

I am married to a Union Pipefitter and even we don't agree with Card Check. I think it is totally up to the CEO heads to decide if they want to go union and then let the people decide. If anyone goes to work at Walmart ,or wherever, and they know what their wages and benefits are, that is their choice to work there. You should never be scared or forced into going against what is clearly your choice. My husband put in 5 long, low salary pay years while he was an apprentice but now he gets paid well, we have pension and a 401K. We have a comfortable life and yes, we do shop at Walmart :) I think Unions are good in some areas of work and not good in others.
