The problem is that they are threatening all the other animals there; snakes, birds, crocs, etc. I don't think you can blame all of today's Australians for a decision made by a handful of sugarcane farmers in 1930s Queensland.

If I'm understanding your logic: gay marriage will force straight people to be gay?

The old gay barber in our town being able to validate his long term relationship affects me as much as the old straight schoolteacher who decides to get married... which is not at all. It's between adults, it's consensual, it's none of my f-ing business.

And, your ludicrous examples of pedophilia, beastiality are red herrings. Again, two consenting adults does not equal a man and a horse.

Don't cherrypick the bible to defend your views. That would mean you are prepared to obey Luke 6:30, "Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again." So if I ask very nicely for all your money, you would comply?

There are a million other things you tolerate that the bible condemns. It would be more genuine to say 'I hate gay people and don't ever want their relationships to be legally or spiritually valid'. That would be honest, at least.

You're committing a logical fallacy known as the 'red herring'. Introducing disparate statistics unrelated to the case at hand. You did not link anything relevant to interracial marriage at all.

People who research interracial marriage agree that more studies are needed and Dr. Root's work is by no mean's conclusive. The hyperlink yielded a 404 error was because the ) got included in the url. In that regards, I believe the 'linky' does 'worky'.
