I agree. You pay for the service, to provide your customers the ability to use credit. I'm all for credit cards, but I think the swipe fee should be around 1-2%, not 3-4%.

Yes, we know. But typically items are the same price for all customers. If businesses have credit/cash prices, I won't shop there.

Duh... To be more clear, if there are 2 different prices (credit/cash) when I buy an item, I won't buy it; I'll go elsewhere at let the establishment know why I'm not spending at their store.

Violence does not go away ever, no matter what you legalize. It's human nature and has been going on since the beginning of time. Fairmind does have a point though with prohibition.

I guess if we legalize pot, we can always make it criminal again.

If someone wants to charge me more for using my credit card, I simply won't purchase from that establishment. No big deal for me.
