well, i'm excited for the Oscars for one reason: the "dark knight" rule. because of the epic FAIL on the part of the academy last year in not nominating chris nolan's "the dark knight" for Best Picture, this will be the first year ever that they'll allow 10 nominees to be considered for the award. Also Best Picture can be an animated film for the first time. "UP!" gets my vote.

Boo this man! nah, not really though. after having discussed movies with you at length, i have a better idea of the stuff you're into and "Let The Right One In" is certainly not your type of movie. for me though, it doesn't get much better. i am a huge unabashed fan of all things minute and understated in cinema. i like sad little foreign movies about shit that most just scratch their heads at. and honestly, i think this movie being made is a travesty. but its really quite hard to get all upset about it because its just the way things are in Hollywood. and i've totally come to terms with it. so fuck it. just one more movie for me to ignore.

the lizard would be sick but i don't even think he could save this floundering franchise. carnage would also be cool but they would no doubt find a way to fuck it up.

the turtles were a HUGE part of my childhood as well and its sad to see them constantly being shaken down every couple of years for a few more bucks. the funny part is that the one co-creator kevin eastman is richer than God now. in fact all the money he made from being the creator of TMNT was the money he used to buy Heavy Metal magazine out of bankruptcy and continue publishing bizarre south american sci-fi comics with tons of titties. so thats good. <div style="margin: 6px 0pt 0pt; display: block;"><a class="a2a_dd" href="http://www.addtoany.com/share_save">Share/Save/Bookmark
