Is it possible now to load Siri on an iPhone 4 running 5.0.1 Corona?

Thanks for all the hard work! I did the 5.0.1 JB two days ago which worked fine on my iPhone4. And now I see the updates for the launchctl-related fix and Mobilesubstrate. But rather than re-running Redsnow, can't I just re-install the Corona 5.0.1 Untether from Cydia?

It's weird that the package says it is still 1.0-1, but underneath it talks about 1.0-2 and -3??

I'm running 4.2.1 on my iphone4 with baseband 01.59.00. I don't really need an unlock, but would like to preserve my baseband in case I need to unlock in the future. So is there a way to upgrade to 4.3.3, run jailbreakme and preserve the baseband?

Nevermind. GP for Windows works fine. I just did the upgrade (or restore) following Notcom's instructions exactly and it worked perfectly. Thanks!

Does GP work fine with Windows? I've seen posts that say you have to use a Mac, but the GP site seems to have a windows version RC5_b2. Does that work with IOS 4.2.1 on the iPhone4?

My carrier is Orange France 7.0. I also have a 3GS that I use when in America on T-Mobile 7.0. It's been a long time since I upgraded to 4.0.1 and I don't recall doing anything special.

I had that SIM lock thing happen a few times when I first upgraded to 4.0.1, but then the problem went away. My only issue with 4.0.1 is that WiFi is sometimes flaky. But normally that works ok too. I saw no value in upgrading til now with 4.2.x

Thanks. I have all my SHSH saved with TU. I guess I'll wait for an untethered JB. No great rush.

I have an ultrasnowed iphone 4 running 4.0.1 on 01.59.00. Do I have it right that I can use PwnageTool 4.1.3 to upgrade to IOS 4.2.x and will continue to have Ultrasnow preserve my baseband? Or is there something I should wait for?

TIA!

But Windows users can grab a pwn'd 4.1 ipsw from somewhere and restore to that, right?
