I have to echo other commenters here. When I saw that Behar was involved I lost any and all good will I may have felt towards this movie. She is just such a nasty, miserable piece of work. She gets an instant "no see" like Bill Maher.

It is hard for a modern person to look at those times accurately.Short, brutal lives were the norm, they were in many ways barbaric. The fact is that Christendom outgrew it's barbarity while Islam still embraces it's practices. This is what we should keep in mind.We can't change the past(we can,of course, misrepresent it).

I always wondered if Caps Shield was somehow cast in those colors. The paint should get obliterated every time he uses it.

How can there be Howlers without Nick Fury?I really didn't like the whole race change, they would never do it in the other direction. We've had a black Kingpin and now black Nick Fury.Maybe next a white Falcon? No.

I hope they aren't going with that whole USO performer storyline.I really want to like this movie.Cap has always been a favorite even though he has often been misused as a political statement.

His service was laudable.Still,it does not give him license to defame and dishonor his fellow veterans.

Well, you are talking about two different things. They often handed out a small booklet for free in theaters but you had to pay for the more elaborate ones. They were sold in theaters and wherever there was a selection of magazines. The only original I still have is Terminator 2(I bought the Blade Runner souvenir mag on Ebay,a prize possession of my youth).I also loved the comic book tie ins, usually done by Marvel. They came as 2-3 or 4 part limited series or in one special edition on glossier paper.I loved those! I had Raiders,Star Wars,Empire,Jedi even Buccaroo Banzai!I was only 10 when Blade Runner came out and it was rated R,but that magazine and the comics fascinated me.

I love this movie because it all failed to come true! The Malthusian doomsayers were wrong, they would have brought the world to that state if they had been allowed to win.Alas they haven't given up and they may yet succeed in bringing down humanity.Watch this movie and realize what that society looks like a worse version of....why,socialist Europe!(or any number of other hell holes).

ABC's reaction reminds me of the NFL reaction over the Rush Limbaugh team ownership story. When did conservatives start getting treated as pariahs? What a disgrace.
