"rescued after her car crashed through SHEETROCK in a hospital parking garage and plunged 10 feet down an elevator shaft." Granted I have to say she is an idiot and shouldnt be driving.

Mis managed wars I think not, if Rumsfeld had not decided to limit the original amount of troops in Iraq and had increased it to somewhere in the 225000-250000 troop range no insurgency would have occurred. So yes the civilian leadership may have been wrong but if you are implying the military mismanaged the wars then I have to disagree with you 100%

How expensive could it be to operate this crane? It uses electricity but it doesn't do a lot of heavy lifting since it generally carries a few people and its already erected.

If you read where Exxon's profits came from you would realize that the vast majority came from overseas. Their CEO said something and I'm not quoting it but it is very close that only 6% of their profits came from gasoline. These companies deserve to make a profit, the have been forced to look in dangerous parts of the world (i.e Nigeria, Venezuela, etc) for oil and they have to insure that their employees are safe. The real problem here is that the number of operating refineries has been cut in half in the last 25 years, so the excess crude cannot be refined into the various products at nearly a fast enough rate.

Perhaps now would be a good time to rewire the place? just a thought or they could wait for round three next year.
