That's great. I'm glad to hear that. For Curve, I think you will use the same initialization string as with Bold. I can't verify that though since I don't have BB Curve. Let me know if it doesn't work.

I think you are right, we need to link wisely in our blog post. One principle I have in mind in linking is that I should not re-invent the wheel. If other website, articles, or blog post can explain it better than me, or may be it's something that will be too long to discuss in my own blog post, than I will just link to whatever site it was originally on.

I was actually really tempted to get an iPhone, instead of Blackberry before, but I'm glad I chose BB. I like its BB Messenger. I might get an iPhone in the future though. Just for fun.

I haven't tested this yet, but from my research, there's this one guy get it to work. He's using OS X 10.5.6 and BB OS .167. Everything is the same; however, click "Advanced" (under Modem) and set Vender: Option, Model: GSM, APN: WAP.CINGULAR, CID: 1. Apply and hit connect. Hopefully this works.

I'm not sure if the username is case sensitive or not, but I think the password is case sensitive. As for the dial up number, it is *99#, so the # is an actual character, not your wireless number. What cellphone provider are you using? Different providers will require different initialization strings.

If you still get the same error, what exactly the error is? if you can give me the error number and the error message, that would be great.

You are right. Plus, the price is still pretty high now for a 2Gb device. I can see its future capability though, like HTML browsing and digital picture frame. We'll have to see, maybe they will implement these two features in version 2.
