Almost no one in business class on a flight to Asia is paying for a ticket out of their own pocket. It's expensed, or they have a ton of upgrade miles, or their agency makes a lot of money price gouging the airport bottled water and sandwich markets.

I live near Cherryvale and if you go to the intersection of Cherryvale and Reserve to the three way stop you can observe roughly 80% of the cars 'coasting' through the big red signs.
