I'm thinking that some public humiliation is just the ticket for these little monsters.
I don't agree with the death threats but I do like the fact that they get to feel the same type of pain/humiliation that they were inflicting, only bigger. Might actually teach them a lesson.

Excellent decision! The pig deserved every bit of the beating (and death) he received. Too bad we can't make this the punishment for all child molesters.

Normally I support LEOs but in this case it was indeed gross negligence, and he should pay for this crime just as anyone else would. I read in a previous story that his wife actually questioned him when he set the gun down in the car and that she though he had picked it up before he got out.
It is still tragic, and I feel bad for his family but he simply knew better than to leave a loaded weapon in a car full of children.

It only disturbs them because you have passed your intolerance and hatred onto them.

Whether I agree or disagree with someones lifestyle doesn't matter, it simply isn't my business, or yours, or anyone elses to judge them.
Unless, of course, the lifestyle in question is that of a drug addict/thug/gang banger/whatever or a rapist/child molester/whatever and their actions have a direct negative effect on my/your/someone's life. Then they need to be rounded up and disposed of. I don't have time or compassion for people who prey on others for any reason. But that's a whole different topic.

Maybe because people like you Bronze would have a fit because they used a 'straight' term to describe their partner and you would berate them for trying to act like they were 'normal'.
It's really a no win with a closed mind such as yours seems to be. You will find a way for whatever they do to be wrong or inflamatory.
I don't understand why people like you have to get your undies in such a twist over something that doesn't even affect you.
If you don't like the story, don't read it. If you don't like PDA's from a gay couple don't watch them.
Personally I dislike PDA's from anyone but I also understand that if it's a PUBLIC place I am free to look/go elsewhere if I don't like what other people are doing.
It really is just that simple.

We have friends named Olivia too, and it's a nice name, I just thought it was funny that my MIL thought calling a kid Olive was a good idea.
I like olives (and you're right, olive branches are pretty), but I wouldn't want to be named after one. If you were chubby you'd get teased for being shaped like an olive and if you were thin you'd get called Olive Oyl from the Popeye cartoon. Just seemed like it a no win if your a kid.

That's an adorable name for your Pom but I figured it would be torture for a kid :)
That makes me want to name my next dog Pickle Juice! Both my girls are bonkers for pickles so they would totally get a kick out of it.

Bahahhaha, my mother-in-law wanted me to name my daughter Olivia and when I said 'no way!' she was all hurt and said "but you could call her Olive" like some how that wasn't worse!!
Actually Olivia isn't too bad, just wasn't what I wanted.

You are very correct, the video clears it right up. For those of you who don't want to watch it:
The girl in the cone thought it was funny and actually chose the 'cone of shame' for the fake punishment. It was never secured to her head and was only held in place for the picture. The girl in the cone even agreed that it was a great way for the teacher to get her point across (don't eat Frito's in class) and have some fun with the class at the same time.
Too many people are getting their undies in a bunch over something that the kids and the 'victim' thought was funny and appropriate to the situation.
