Great points. I wish you both were wrong but alas, the days of a "brave Hollywood" are no more. There will always be the masturbatory awards nights when they congratulate themselves on whatever politically correct attitude is in vogue that season, (see Michael Moores mockumentary getting a prize (WTH?) while Van Gogh's DEATH got no mention)...
I look forward to the time when I can join or support someone there, (masked man??) & have Hollywood make films that are smart, bold, and maybe just maybe, unafraid...

Libertygeek-
very good point about liberals missing out on how they themselves are not exempt from the policiies they think only apply to others and "can't we all just get along?" I wish.
In fact, many on the left would be the first to be booted out (best case scenario for them) if Sharia law became our law. Remember when Sean Penn met with & embraced Iran's president? Then Sean lobbied for gay marriage in California. Guess Sean forgot how that country treats its' gays (What gays? They're all dead or gone). Talk about an "inconvenient truth" and "cognitive dissonance". Oh the shallowness and hypocrisy...
The biggest problem with the logic of moral relativism spouted by the academics teaching our children is where it leads you. If all opinions are to be given equal weight, it means you must tolerate the intolerant, b/c all view points are of equal value. So love has the same value as hate, and the intolerant can choose to squash the tolerant b/c after all, who's to say if one way is better when really, we are "all equal" and the intolerant FELT they had to destroy the tolerant? Idiocy...the death of common sense. God, I hope we wake up soon.

anyone know how we can find out where she's speaking next? I searched online (but I am now wondering if her schedule is kept private or discreet, as a security matter??)
Damn. Would LOVE to hear her in person and thank her. Again Mr.W, thank you!

Thank you so much for writing this. I live in southern California and work with "artists" who are filled with smug disdain for anyone who doesn't see eye to eye with them on all issues, including topics about which they know very little. The left really does think one must be stupid and or evil if one fails to see why they are right on all counts. They love to accuse conservatives of being intolerant and they see no irony in that.
But they have no cognitive dissonance b/c there's not a lot going on cognitively...
Anyhow, this woman has articulated just perfectly, how I feel as a woman, a feminist and as a conservative. I am not interested in shoving my private religious views onto anyone, but I am tired of being afraid to point out the obvious. We ARE at war and it's not a war we can end by appeasement or political correctness. And we have to begin by naming it. Finally, a woman with total credibilty speaks out and yet the left still won't listen.
I marched against South Africa's apartheid decades ago. Was that merely a "cultural difference" or matter of national sovereignty then? No. It was a moral wrong and I'm glad I protested it. So where are the marches for these women? The left is hiding its' cowardice behind its' multi-cultural BS. If these were black MEN getting mutilated by Christians, there'd be widespread, (& justifiable) outrage. Yet somehow when it's poor women being abused, we look the other way. Shame on us for that! Listen to this woman! IF we in the US and west do not march and protest for them, who will? (And Mr. Wrestling, keep up the great work! There are more of us here than you think...like maybe 5 or even 6!)
