As someone who's wife needed a blood transfusion, I thank everyone out there that has ever donated. I've been donating since college.

To everyone out there that b*tch@s about not getting paid for it, I hope your convictions are just as strong if you are bleeding out and refuse to take any blood because the donater (could have been me), did not get paid.

Most people on this board seem to despise the government, be it city, state or federal.

Most people on this board also seem to despise anyone that excersizes their right and some may say duty to protest those same branches of government.

Wow, riding your bike, on a bike path separated by a concrete barrier, and a motorcycle flies over it and hits you. Sometimes there is just no winning.

Of course a drunk 28 year old on a bike way to powerful for him, I hope he was heavily insured and that the victim on the bike get's all the restitution he needs to make him whole again.

As long as you also ban fishing in rivers and the ocean, off-road motorcycle, atv and truck driving, skydyving, scuba diving, surfing, backwoods backpacking and hunting, etc.

What a great place we will live in then. We can all go to Disney's virtual reality theatre to experience anything.

Such a shame.

The insurance companies have money, politicians need money. So the insurance companies have convinced the politicians to allow the complete health-care line to be shrowded in secrecy, so that the health insurance companies can partner with the hospitals and care-givers so that, if you are insured, you get billed at a much higher rate than if you weren't insured, so you basically end up paying almost as much in your deductibles and co-pays as you would w/o insurance.
