Republicans come out with fake news , like Obama is a Muslim, went to a madras, doesn't have a birth certificate, and Stewart uses his shtick to prove how ridiculous they are .Educated people know the difference between the absurd lies and misinformation opinionists like Hannity and Rush spew as facts, and wonder how these guys call themselves reporters. Stewart points out the ridiculous, and drives his message with reason, albeit in a entertaining fashion. If you can't laugh at the absurdity that politicians and rightwingnuts use to defend their unpopularity,nor the danger of their hate speech and disingenuous agenda, then you have no outlet for your anger at these threatening losers. But I wouldn't expect an opinionated toadie to get it, and perhaps the author just hopes there are enough idiots out there to believe his preposterous hypotheses.
