people on my street used to go to the yellow grit box and get the salt to do the road but the bins are empty cos all the asian taxi drivers/shop keepers in the area have taken it away. guess what the bins cant be refilled because the roads that used to be cleared by us are not clear anymore so the council cant get to them to fill them back up
