when the security council has tyrants and dictators controlling it....well, something is definitely wrong. of course this is the norm for the U.N. whatever they can get away with is fair game. the U.N. building would be better served being a prison.

Gadhafi speaks as though he's above all this like an observer. he had a hand in at least some of these conflicts. this imbecile deserves handcuffs. now he's preaching to the U.N. on OUR soil? wtf!!??

what can the president say that parents are not already telling their kids? try hard? try your best? reach for the sky? strive for excellence? i see this as an attempt to bolster waning approval rates. appear to be likeable then maybe he'll win some kids over. win some kids over maybe just maybe win some parents in the process.

a local news station(among others) praised him for standing up for the middle class. HOGWASH!! any legislation that had a tax cut for the middle class was systematically and vehemently shot down. he may have been a good father/husband/uncle/grandfather ect...but as a politician he was part of the problem. point of fact he was a major part. he's no hero.
