Competition will fuel innovation whether there is a decision to share information or not. The question is whether the large conglomerates will be given free reign to dominate the world market.

What is apparent is that more research needs to be done in this area to determine if geoengineering will further harm the planet. We may not have enough time due to the global economic downturn to rely on reducing emissions and clean energy alternatives.
