Drift dives often have ropes or leashes that keep you at least in sort of contact with your buddy. I do not think I have ever been on a drift dive where I was not within sign sight or light flash site. No flash, the surface you go!! No buddy on the surface, whistle in the chase boat!

You are so right. I don't know how many buddies I have had that I would never dive with again. You are just so right. I did find a buddy once a half mile away on the surface thanks to a current. Not his fault but we both surfaced with stops right away!

I feel really bad every time I see some diver got in trouble. You need to always dive with a buddy and plan your dive. Do not deviate, there will always be another dive!

I understand the problem here but in a dangerous sport it can be safe by just following the rules!!!!!

I give my condolences to his loved ones sincerely but I guess I will not be able to do the same for his buddy.

I have negoytiated (negotiated) many contracts and been part of a few strikes from the front line. No one ever wins in a strike and the true positive outcome is only realized when no one has a gun to their head.

School board and teachers, I back you both and respect you but you are not doing anything for the good of those you work with or work for. SO let the kids go on, or sign them up with another school system.
