unless it gets so bad that the division in america is nullified, half of the country will still support him. with that kind of support, the supreme court will never turn on him. without the supreme court ruling in favor of impeaching him, along with house and senate, the US military will be forced to defend him. after all, like it or not, he is still the commander in chief. Being ex-military I know that as well as anyone. Ther is no way the american people will take on the american military, and still have a country worth claiming in the end. Or one that the rest of the world would take seriously. We HAVE to do this through the non-violent means that our constitution gives us. Please lets not forget about the constitution, or else what are we fighting for?
Ron, here is the major problem I see. This november we have a very good chance to take back both the house and senate. unfortunately we will not get two thirds in both to cancel out veto power. in order to impeach him, we have to have two thirds vote, and we wont have it. impeachment will not happen, so we have to deal with that. we have to vote him out in 2012 then try our best to repair the damage. which could take many years. taking the country back by force is the last thing we want to try and i'll explain why.
What we really need in this time of crisis, is for the republican party to grow a pair. we need to weed out the john Mcains and the Lindsey grahams (nancy gramnesty). that want to compromise us right into oblivion. We need hard nosed conservatives that are not afraid to tell the truth and call a lie a lie. Have you ever wondered why sarah palin and michelle bachman are the two most respected and admired republicans around, much more so than all of the weak kneed pansies that we have setting in congress right now. When was the last time you saw a conservative blasting a liberal on a sunday morning news show, the shows with all of the uninformed americans viewing? A note to the republican party: Grow a pair and speak up or take a nice long vacation and get the hell out of the way!
The economic nightmare we are in, was not due to the big oil companies, or even wall street for that matter. It was set in motion when Bill Clinton gave the CRA (community reinvestment act) the teeth that bit us in the backside. Face it gang, we are in for a LONG fight. We have to stay focused, and it has to stay peaceful. the minute we become violent, they win! Even if we take back both the house AND senate in November, we will NOT have the two thirds majority needed to repeal anything, nuch less impeach the president. Face it, we are stuck with this MADMAN for at least two more years. But look at how far the Tea arty has come in less than two years. and we did it peacefully. Folks, Now is the tim for the boots to hit the ground. The future of this country is at a crossroads and the only way to save it is for all of us to get involved.

please lets keep our heads and keep our cool. the last thing we need is for states to start packing their bags. The progressives have been putting this play into action for more than 100 years. If they divide us, they win. If we get frustrated and give up, they win. The precedents for these actions were set in place by FDR, Wilson, and truman. All of this is straight from the manifesto of bill ayers and the weather underground.
As much as I dont want to give up on 912, have you found any other website that seems to be banding people together, or has called for action from its members. Anyone out there organizng us? We have the potential to make Acorn or Move on dot org to seem miniscule and inconsequential. But we have to do it together. Our childrens futures are at stake here. Please let me know what you have found.

I live in rural Ohio, so I dont have a really big community to starta movement in. I have never been more scared for my country and our liberties in my life than I am right now. If the conservative movement ever needed true leaders to come forth and solidify us, I dont know when. The tea parties were a great start, but it seems like we have let that slip into the history books, washington has blown that off by now, and we dont seem to be doing any follow up to keep us fresh in their minds. 25 million conservatives individually, with no structure is not that much of a threat to washington. They know we are wandering aimlessly. But 10 million banded together, demanding them to be accountable, will scare the daylights out of them. I am really nervous because I havent seen that banding together.
HELP, Anyone?
Can anyone tell me what is going on? Unfortunately, I am not able to spend as much time as I would like on the site. I was really getting excited when people finally started talng about getting this site organized, thewhole 11 panel members, each panel member taking a group of volunteers to do research and report back to the group as a whole. There have been a lot of really good ideas posted, but it really seems that that has fizzled out. The 912 site seems to be no more than a site for people to vent, it doesnt seem to be accomplishing a whole lot more than that.
I think Hitler would have given his eye teeth (without Novacaine) to have what Obama has at his disposal. As I have said before, I am VERY afraid of what this administration could and would do to our constitution. He has already proven he has no problems with outright and blatant disregard for it, I am aazed there arent 15,000 Law Suits in the courts already, but then again would even the courts stand up to him. I worry that we may not have the opportunity to vote him out of office. I sincerely hope that you and I are just letting our emotions get thebest of us and none of this becomes reality, BUT........
This makes FDR, Wilson, and Hoover looks like childs play!!!!!!

(give it a few more months like the few weve already had and you make have to change your name to FoundInsanity) I wish I could be a beacon of hope, but sorry, that seems to be reserved for "the annointed one". I agree with you completely, he is weakening our defenses, seting up his own alliances around theworld, and personally trying to grab the nations economy for his own purposes.
One point that I would argue though, is that I dont beleive that HE has set himself to this task. I think he is a puppet, having his strings pulled by someone much more dangerous hiding behind the scenes. NO ONE soars from a community organizer in chicago, to president of the united states, with absolutely no experience, and without any vetting, scrutinizing, hard questions having to be answered, or showing and qualifications at all, without someone else pulling some major strings behind the scenes.
