your best post yet. “Mommy, can I have the Chinese baby?” -- i don't believe she actually said that, but even if you did make it up, it's great.

also, i love the sign "Tickets and Snax" and the explanation under it, "Tickets and Concessions." Snax is stupid, yes, but it doesn't need translating.

i just googled and found this to back me up, which happens to be one of my favorite sites, and not just because it agrees with me:

Also, "yeah" is like the casual "yes." As in "Yeah, I guess I'll do that."

I'm not sure what's up with "Yah." I personally use it as a one word answer. "Are you finished?" "Yah." But the word "ya" has no place in my vocab. I do use "ya'll" cuz i'm from Atlanta ;)

"Any other OCD grammar issues, slpc?" Nay, that's about it.

I'm usually a nice person, but not when it comes to people who write "Yea" for "yay."

It's "Yay! I'm excited!" Like "Hooray!"

As Keldoo said, "yea" means "yes," as in yea or nay, and is used in voting situations. All in favor say yea or nay.

People who say "Yea, I'm so excited!" might as well say "Hell nay, I'm not gonna eat that!"

yeah, alice was "7 and a half exactly" in the books... but i actually like the casting of Alice, because Alice was a very very mature 7.5 year old. And 20 nowadays is more like 15, maturity-wise. So it almost evens out, in my opinion.

I actually think they cast the role more for that actress than for her age. She's classically gorgeous and very Alice-like.

As for the film in general, it seems over the top, but it could MAYBE work... Fingers crossed.

i mean stage name in that she dropped her last (and middle) name and has only gone by Madonna for 20+ years. and yes, her other kids are Mercy and David -- i just chose the first two because of space limitation, and the "Virgin" Mary supposedly had other sons and daughters, but I didn't list them either, cuz it's not quite as effective as just saying God.
