Obama facilitated the American surrender and withdrawal from Iraq and now he's applying his expertise to Afghanistan. There should be another Nobel Peace Prize and then the top job at the UN after 2012.

Your Commanders-In-Chief threw it all away with their Liberal nonsense and have invigorated the enemy. Mideast war coming soon. Is Obama going to threaten Israel? You bet.

The rules of engagement under the Bush administration were unconscionable and stupid.

American military forces took over 4000 killed and 32,000 wounded for this idiotic pointless occupation of Iraq. Are Americans so sensitive and politically correct that they will accept more defeats like the Iraq fiasco or will they elect a President who will destroy the enemy utterly and not try to win a Nobel Peace Prize for taking unnecessary casualties in the service of defeat.

The American defeat in Iraq will be studied for centuries. How can a military which annihilated the enemy and was unchallenged on the battlefield lose taking heavy casaulties in a mindless and unnecessary occupation which accomplished nothing? How many more wars can you afford to lose because of political interference, political treachery for the purpose of gaining power, and no coherent endgame?

The overthrow of Saddam Hussein was just and necessary. The military quickly accomplished their mission with minimal casualties and then the politicians stepped in with their grand idea of delivering the gift of Western Liberalism and democracy to a mostly traditional tribal Muslim society. The proper strategy would have been to garrison a couple of Saddam's large airbases in the desert and control the whole Gulf area without the need to kowtow to the locals. The politicians picked the stupidest plan of scattering your forces throughout Iraq with no logical mission, restrictive rules of engagement, and merely provided targets of opportunity to the Jihadists resulting in unnecessay high casaulties to American forces. The catastrophe of this American defeat in Iraq is responsible for the recent upheaval in the Middle East and will surely quickly lead to a major war involving Israel.
