To this day, Sir Bobby Moore remains the best footballer I have ever had the priviliege to see play. Lets get that chant going tomorrow. A TRUE FOOTBALL LEGEND, a hero, and a bloody nice nice bloke as well. At lunchtime today, as I have done on this date for the last 19 years, I celebrated his life, with some friends down the pub, and will go back at 5.00pm to continue. Thank you SIR BOBBY MOORE, for so many magical moments.
I agree entirely with ClaretBobby about Stech, but if it is one game, surely Boffin should be able to deputise.
Joe Cole will not be coming home. So no discussion required
Have you seen the Texaco Fantasy League, it's for the Championship, not as sophisticated and much more difficult, but at least west Ham are in it. Code 813 to join a West Ham league
who cares about Upson, he's not a West Ham player anyway
We must keep Tomkins, he has been known to lack concentration in the past which has led to goals conceded (as has Noble), but, potentially he has real class, and part of the reason for his errors in the past was down to a certain Mr. Upson passing on big centre forwards he couldn't deal with. We do need to sign some quality players though. Forget Gudjohnsen, we need an out and out striker with 25 goals in him in the Championship. We won't get anywhere near promotion without one.
Changing the subject completely, I hope everyone renews their season tickets because the team will need the backing of the fans more than ever next season, but i've a horrible feeling that the crowds will be the lowest for about 20 years.
calm down, I've heard it's Coleen we've signed.
Seriously, what a coup. excellent
I think there will be a few fans who won't renew season tickets if it joins.
Diouff, NO WAY, we've become a circus in the last few years and this would be the lowest of the low signings. Does anyone remember the good old days when we used to complain that we weren't in the papers often enough ! Now we dominate the back pages and all for the wrong reasons. Perhaps if FIFA got rid of Septic Bladder, we could make him our Director of Football.
I'm no fan of BFS but it's going to happen and we have to be positive. It's not just the Managers fault, only about 20% of the players gave their all last year, they are as much to blame. If BFS can turn that around and install a leader on the pitch (not a Scotty, but a true leader), and sort out the excuse of the way we defend, and that's from the front, not just the back four. We might, just might have a chance of getting out of the toughest league. It's going to take big hearts and great support. So come on ladies & gents, get behind your team,.
