Has anyone seen the movie STARSHIP TROOPERS? Does the public service theme seem familiar? For those of you who haven't, I recommend it for the entertainment value only. I am of the ilk that man caused global warming is crap, but I still watched and somewhat enjoyed The Day After Tomorrow. The theme in Troopers was if you served for the government you could get an education or get a permit easier for having a family. If you didn't serve you had to jump though hoops to get the permit to have kids. I have been comparing O'dips policies to this movie for 8mos, and everyone said I was nuts. Well anyone who watched Glenn today saw the student loan forgiveness if you go to work for the government or approved agencies, and I am sure somewhere in the healthcare bill is something akin to controlling procreation. Think about that
I have to give O'bandit alot of credit. he (and his advisors) are the smartest people in Washington. I am sure everyone who has a brain has noticed all the highly controversial people he has appointed or selected for "approval" to high ranking positions, right? He has done this on purpose, not because he thinks they would do a good job, but so the media ( including conservative media) will run themselves to death trying to either promote the messiah's choice or to show the star struck american public how bad this person is. Why would he do this? So there is absolutely no one watching him. When he gets done with this country, he won't need the people he appointed to those positions, because there would be no rights left for a court to decide on, or the need for the IRS because the powers will just take their cut before you get your check. He is a master magician with the slight of hand. But I beg of you, please PAY ATTENTION TO THE MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN.
Congrats!! O happy day. I have three boys myself, and there is nothing better than the innocence of a child, to bad we lose it when we grow up. I do have one word of advice about saftey I never heard about before it happened to one of my twins. DO NOT use a crib bumper, that's the pad that wraps around the inside of the crib to keep the baby from bumping their head. My son Kevin at 6mos rolled over and his face ended up in the corner where the bumper and mattress met. He quickly suffocated, but his twin brother Joe started screaming and I came in to see what was wrong, found Kevin and was able to revive him. He suffered mild brain damage but he is still alive and functional Thank god (and Joe too) because he is an absolute joy we almost lost. Please take every precaution with your daughter. I am watching ABC for my local weather due to storms in my area, and ABC WORLD NEWS NOW just came on and the anchors just keep proving how incredibly stupid they are at ABC. The anchors, Jeremy Hubbard? and Vineena? (couldn't understand her) reported on a North Carolina college student who stole construction barrells, and they were laughing and basically encouraging him to steal the barrels and vandalize them by making them into "art", Jeremy even went as far as saying well done to the vandal. Now I suggest the tax payers (even though a private construction company owned the barrels) are going to pay for them because the construction company will eventually have to raise their bids to cover the future thefts of their property, not to mention the safety hazard of the missing safety barrels. These people obviously approve of theft and illegal activity (as previously seen in their coverage of O'Bama)

I agree with most of the views of the people here, that this country is going to the outhouse fast under O'Bandit, There is almost nothing he has done or is doing to help or heal this country. However, your wanting David Letterman fired over an attempt at a joke is overboard. Was is tasteless, rude, insulting and poor judgement to read the writers joke? Absolutley! He should not be fired, but he should lose ratings by people who were distgusted. Now a rhetorical question, be honest with yourself, when Don Imis was fired over his knappy headed quip, were you happy or did you think that firing a long time radio host over a bad comment was overboard? David Letterman has made political jokes on both sides of the aisle, and even though this one was probably the most viperous one I can think of, when we start cherry picking the ones we don't like to determine his future, then we are no better than the extremist liberals/socialists who are and are going to try to censur political discussions they don't like. You want to hurt David Letterman's career? Stop watching him, and if his rating drop enough the network will do their job.

When the hammer (and sickle) comes down and they look in the registry get your address and come knocking on the door asking for your guns they know you have, try to defend your right to own and you will either be sharing a cell with Craig T. Nelson for doing what he believes in or you'll be sharing a room with Charleton Heston in heaven. Either way, if it comes down to revolt 80% of the guns that will be used are not going to be registered to the people whose hands they are in.
I believe in and obey the law, but when the law becomes a tool to "keep the new world order" then I say damn the law do whatever you need to keep fighting the good fight that our soldiers and law enforcement people believe in and die for on a daily basis. fourthly, you state that people buy guns to protect from criminals. This is the main reason for owning a gun, that is true, but have you asked yourself why gun sales have sky rocketed in the recent months? It's because people fear this government for whatever reason. When (not if) O'Bama either makes gun ownership illegal, or makes the ammunition impossible to get due to price or availablity, or requires an unrealisticly high insurance policy to own a gun, you think that anybody is going to walk up to the president or for that matter any senator or congressman who approved this law and slap on the cuffs? If you truely believe that can happen, you're living in the dream world liberals want you to. message was to long , to be continued...
now, i'm not advocating anything here, but it seems to me legally buying guns to protect ourselves against this tyrannical dictatorship is useless. They have you name, address what and how many guns you have and when they come for them (and they will) and you can't produce a sales receipt or a police report stating they were stolen guess what other right you'll lose? liberty!
