I agree with S. Velu's argument that the Indian community is divided because "everyone want to be a party chairman or president." Yes, Indians lack good leadership to steer them out of the poverty circle and towards greener pastures. The only way out of this vicious circle is for the community to have leaders like Shih Huang Ti or Mao Zedong who liquidated uncooperative leaders to unite the Chinese community in China. Millions died, but in the process, China became united and is a great nation today. Likewise, the Indians in Malaysia need one strong leader to wipe out corrupt leaders of the community so that the majority of the Indians could be united and work towards their future. In this case, we need to sacrifice a few Indians (the hopelessly useless ones) for the majority to survive. No?

Every time an issue crops up, especially if it involves minority groups, the authorities and minis-ters will warn the aggrieved groups against "politicising" the issue! I fear that a day will come when patience runs out, there will be bloodshed. I end with a quote from Alan Paton’s ‘Cry, The Beloved Country’: “I have one great fear in my heart, that one day when they are turned to loving, they will find that we are turned to hating.”

UM is a sick paper with sick editors. Time to weed out these crumbs, or else the nation will be in trouble.

If there should be any demonstration and clashes between groups then the authorities will be held responsible for giving the green light to screen the movie. They could have at least asked the censorship board to snip the offending urination part!

Disgusting and degrading to the reputation of our police force. Just imagine a sleeping cop being robbed of his firearm and ammo. This cop ought to be retired off.

Let's set up an independent team to investigate what's happening. Was it staged? Yes, how did a video clip conveniently came into the picture. Another attempt to bring back the EO?
