Whether you'll focus on search engines as a primary source of your traffic or you'll build up your brand. Most often people choose blog name with keywords because
1) It helps a bit to rank higher in search results
2) It will be easier to sell the domain name after sometime, if wished.

After blogging for some time, I wish if I had chosen something unique name :-)

Ahhh! The roundup posts are really useful for me especially in this time when I'm been back from a few months gap. There are lots of posts I have not read and won't be possible to go through them. The referrals like this helps to filter best ones quick. Thanks Nile.

Hmm! That means Google is updating Analytics. I have not yet made myself comfortable with new interface of Adsense. For some days the change makes uneasy. But hope the changes will make it more useful.

I've seen some posts about Post Ideas. If you ask me I would suggest to participate in related actions. When I feel that I don't have anything to write about, I start reading other's blog posts and start commenting. After having some interaction I find sufficient content for my post. Similarly I find from blogEngage, Bloggers and similar type of networks, when I comment and vote there, something sparkles my mind and sit to write a new post.

Hi Nile,

Understanding what users are looking for in your site is really beneficial to personalize your site content. I often look at webmasters and analytics search data. When there are some search terms that brought the user to the site and it has not the content direct related to the searched term there results any of two:

1. It increases the bounce rate and ultimately reduce your ranking for the keyword and in future search engines will learn not to send the visitor to your site for the keyword. PROBLEM!

2. This is an opportunity to learn where you can extend the content of your site. An OPPORTUNITY to personalizing content for your visitors.

Thank you for pointing out another good use of 404 page. I need to customize it a bit to embrace your suggestions.
