Who is "Regan"?

I saw the preview for this a couple of weeks ago in the theater and remember thinking "Oh boy, another loser for Ed Norton..." and then quickly forgot about it until i saw this post. I had to go to IMDB and look up his film career. It's basically a trainwreck after a promising start. I cant believe the last movie i've actually seen him in was the remake of the Italian Job, and that was from 2003.

Both films are fantastic. The dialogue in the original is as sharp as it gets. Carpenter's version is amazing overall. The tension is pretty much relentless through the whole film. Just my 2 cents, but i think these 2 should be a little higher up the list for Greatest Halloween films. I highly suggest watching the special edition with the director commentary. Some really interesting tidbits.

On a side note - I actually just rewatched the 1982 version for about the 100th time and saw something I had never noticed before. Richard Dysart's character is wearing a nose ring. I dont think it's visible except in a hi-def format.

some people just dont have an internal monologue filter that constantly asks them "should i really say this outloud... and on camera?". Ellen Page is a perfect example. She has her droning, monotone, thoughtstream about seeds of compassion, and holistic intelligence and has blurted it out before she realizes she sounds like some freshman high school goth chick. She immediately looks for affirmation in what she said was cool and the dopey guy next to her says of course, because really he thinks if he affirms her, he'll get to sleep with her.

How Ellen Page is cast in anything is beyond me. Not cute, and not talented.

That may be the most incendiary photoshop pic ever. MSM cant even discuss it because it's too close to the truth.

The camera work in Speed is excellent as well. They really did a nice job conveying the sense of speed/motion right before the bus has to jump the gap in the highway. You actually get that roller coaster acceleration feeling which is amazing considering it's a movie about a bus. Helps having a director who was also a director of photography/cinematography.

Sting completely ignores the impact of drug abuse on families. How many wards of the state are children taken away from drug addicted parents? Didn't the UK try legalizing heroin in the 70s? How'd that work out?

Why let facts get in the way of an anti-Isreal story? It hasn't stopped the MSM before.

Mr Reich has a fascinating ability to distort facts and evidence to fit his view of economics. Confronted with contrarian evidence he will cite a single fact (or one that he believes to be factual) to move the argument away from his previously failed argument. His television interviews are good comedy if you understood Econ 101 and 102 in college.

Nowhere in any of the many economics courses that I have taken do i recall the concept of "Fair Share". That concept is antithetical to economics in general (since there would be no economy if people didnt think it was fair to engage in trade), as well as capitalism.

It's time someone took Reich's blatherings to task and illustrated how much of a economic buffoon he is. Heritage has to have somebody ready to intellectually and charismatically eviscerate his body of shoddy work.

LOL at how truly talentless he is. He insults the hispanic community while telling year old Palin jokes. Comedy is supposed to be timely and relevant. Lopez hits neither here. He was never a very strong comic. He forces the timing of punchlines and flashes eyes at the camera. Couldnt be any weaker if they added a trombone wail and rim shot when he hits a punchline. Abysmal talent.
