Okay, okay agreed...But can they not at least say he is a private citizen with a show? Why do republicans fall for this? The left is never asked to apologize or rebuke anything that Hollywood or anybody else says.

No, I shuttered when I heard him. Rick should have immediately went to the real subject. The subject is not an elimination of birth control. The democrat party and the press have made it so. The subject is not that Rush Limbaugh called her a name. The democrat party and the press have turned a phony story into yet another phony story. The republican party is the RE GIFT that keeps on giving. It makes me want to puke, like Rick..

I was just so stunned, shocked, and saddened when I logged on yesterday morning. @GJP...perfect, "a job well started"...just perfect.

Absolutely stunning..I loved that man with all my heart, and we had never met. I had just parked my car this morning getting ready to go into a job interview (the first one I had been called to after many months of trying). I was so shocked and saddened. I got the job, but somehow I do not feel that happy at the moment.

Perhaps in his defense he has been too busy campaigning for the job to even realize there is a bill? I have no idea, just throwing it out there. Romney seems to be a very rehearsed speaker, but when you have changed your opinion and or your positions as much as he has, rehearsed speech is necessary. I am positive Romney would be for the bill, perhaps did not want the interviewer to catch him off guard, or just plain did not know about it.

My husband and I voted for Rick here in Michigan less than an hour ago. We were voter numbers 42 and 43..Not a good sign at all.

I just voted here in Michigan for the Rickster. The turnout was light, but hey, Michigan generally does not pay attention unless the government tries to take their greenback away.

I would not expect a huge crossover from the union members. There will be some, but today is a scheduled day to work. Unless the union leaders actually bring them the ballot, not to many of them will leave work and run right over to vote for a republican. Always remember, here in Michigan, the UAW gets election days off work (paid) when a democrat interest is needed. It is written in their contract. They are off with pay when an election must go their way, today is not that day.

I will be voting for Rick tomorrow in the Michigan primary. I prefer Newt, but Rick is too close not to take advantage of taking this away from Romney. The UAW (unfortunately) is getting involved in this primary big time, and then will change their status back to democrat for the March caucus. Mitt is not well liked here at all, by either party. Mitt interjected himself into the car bailout argument when his opinion was not necessary or warranted. He did not say one word when the dealers were closed (per Obama) and he did not say a word when Rick Wagoner (GM ) was removed from office (per Obama)..which I do believe is unconstitutional and unprecedented.

Well, I will do my part this week. I am voting for Rick in Tuesdays primary in Michigan to hopefully assist in the preventative action of the cucumber and mayonnaise sandwich being served up on our plate.

I do prefer Gingrich, but will take one for the team as Rick may be able to pull this one off. I just did not plan accordingly, I am having surgery tomorrow (nothing major) and my dear husband thought he would get out of voting. God love him, I said " oh no, we will be there to vote, you will just hold on to my arm and help me get in the car".

Oh I agree. I guess union members are "people" but corporations are not, even when union bosses spend their money for them. My daughter is a teacher, conservative, and is disgusted that her union dues basically go to democrat politicians and pro choice organizations. They figure out pretty quickly who the conservatives are by their lack of participation.
