Thanks for sharing! This is an important idea when it comes creativity and inspiration. It can really take some critical thinking to discover what we find most beautiful, inspiring, and valuable. I would have to say that the more we discover on this front, the more inspiration we will find. I have always been very open-minded with music and this offers me a vast array of inspiration from this medium. It can be easy to fall into a trap of just experiencing what is offered and not seeking out true inspiration. Everyone has different opinions in music, art, etc. and by recognizing this it opens up some great dialogue to learn about new types of creative expression.

Thanks for the interview. Rob's the man! I I really enjoy his work and all the advice he offers. He reminds me that there are some real principles to follow to find success and abundance. We might have to also do some things that don't feel comfortable initially, though they are all for a greater long-term success. Great creative questions as well!

Thanks for the post! Sometimes we have to embrace and accept change when we don't have control. Acceptance can really help to keep moving forward and take the next step, instead of becoming stagnant and keeping insistent on previous plans. Being flexible is a very valuable characteristic for creative projects. Thanks!

Abubakar,

It really is interesting how much of a fleeting emotion happiness can be. It seems like right when I notice I'm happy, the emotion has escaped me. I also think that many people believe that happiness is something that should be easily attainable, as opposed to something we may have to seek out. Your distinction between happiness and pleasure is of great value. It is hard to tell the different between those things that can make us "feel good" and actual happiness. There is a much more spiritual connotation to finding happiness, and I think that states such as compassion and inspiration provide us opportunities to be happy.

Thanks Katie,

Yeah, I think self-esteem as well our mood works like a spiral, and this can go up or down. We need to build our selves up little by little and not get overwhelmed by our personal expectations. Once we start on this path we can begin to see a systematic way of building our self-esteem.

It is always very inspiring to see others who turn what many would consider weaknesses into strengths. Particularly, those people who are able to maintain a positive attitude about their conditions in order to inspire others and be a role-model telling us that with resilience and self-confidence we can do much more than we believe.

Very good insight, and thanks for the remarks. The "I think I can" message is truly everlasting, and your right, we are ultimately the only one keeping score. I'm sure most people are harder on themselves than they need to be. But, regardless of our set-backs, if we stick with that motto, we can experience life with more opportunity.
