It took long enough, but I'm glad to see it's finally here.

Overall, this film was quality. It had a captivating story, great action, and phenomenal CGI. The problem, I think, that people had with this film was that people were expecting way to much from it. Given the bad taste T3 left in everyone's mouth, people were expecting this Terminator to be akin to the second coming of Christ and when it wasn't, people felt that they were let down. Reviews poured in and proceeded to rip the film apart. Granted there were plot holes, but when the story your given revolves around the fact that John Connor from the future sent his own father back in time to protect his mother which subsequently led to his birth, there were very few things McG could have done to fix the story so it made sense, but kept true to the story and didn't piss off the die hard fan base. But back to the reviews, people are being extremely unfair and overly critical, including our very own Cole Abaius, proving the age old adage that critics know jack shit. It was great "popcorn" flick, as its called, but it's also set the stage for a new trilogy, the possibilities of which are limitless.
