Agreed. That is what I was trying to illustrate is that you can't listen to him as he just adjusts too much after he publishes.

I'm afraid I have the same concerns.

Considering the date of the post, and the fact that a link has been added to the post about her sentencing, there is no need to change anything.

Ms. Jones,

Offering compensation for coverage is indeed a bribe, and unethical. Coverage should always be based on its own merits, never on "what'll you give/pay me?"

And moral compass for a new decade? I'm sorry, but this rule of journalism is as old as the profession itself.

I would have like to have stuck it out, but when you're talking a $259 gamble, and reviewers I trust, like Walt Mossberg, are telling me to hold off for another generation, I figure why take the gamble? I'll probably get one down the line, but just figured it was better spend the money in other ways.

-laugh- Yes, I am aware Batman is a DC property, but I was speaking of comic book movies as an overall genre.

I'm the same way, I really don't like picking on someone's work, but his artwork is just a distraction at this point. He can't draw Andrew or Kennedy to save his life. I've never been sure a girl was Kennedy until someone refers to her as such. It's just distracting from an otherwise engaging read.

Well, it sounds to me like you didn't actually listen to the podcast, but instead just saw yourself mentioned and went off. We used your art experiment as a jumping off point as to what would happen if an actual serial killer used social media, or if the Nazis had access to social media.

We actually spent very little time talking about you and made it very clear your Tweets were art. We made no mentions of wasting police time, we made no mention of Christian values (you REALLY have never listened to us if you think we would bring that up) and we in no way damned you. Steven and I both just merely extrapolated your idea to a real individual doing the same thing.

The point of The Cynical Bastards, and our CobWEBs podcast, is to comment on the state of social media and the tech blogosphere. There is no doubt you were one of the most talked about stories of the past few days, so us talking about you makes perfect sense.

Perhaps you need a thicker skin, and also the ability to actually listen to what the podcasters say as opposed to jumping to conclusions.

No human being should consume that much meat in one seating.

Luis - You know, I hadn't thought about this, but you're right on every aspect you mentioned. That may be why we are seeing this in other countries such as the UK and not in the USA. As the UK is almost all BBC, what do they care, but here the networks fight tooth and nail ... lots of food for thought here.
