Mike,

This is so good. I'm having lunch with my father in law today to discuss his very point - legacy.

My pastor has a saying that your first church is your family, and that everything in your life flows out of it. Of course this is why the Apsotle Paul writes that a leader should lead their home well as it's a reflection of how they will lead the church.

Your hard, down the line writing here is just what we need - the honest truth that when we cntiually put work over family, we are cheating them and ourselves.

Yu're right - if you want to see how successful I am, look at how I treat my wife, and my child-to-be!

Hi Mike

I wrote a lot about CEM earlier this year and I think I need to again after reading this!

Some good thoughts here that become more pertinent as I consult bigger and bigger organisations.

Also, not wanting to self promote, but I did a long restaurant analogy when I guest blogged for Ruud Hein here: http://www.searchenginepeople.com/blog/people-don...

I'd love to schedule a skype call at some point if possible BTW!

Michael thanks for the heads up on this. I knew that this book was available, but would've missed it if you hadn't flagged up how much value it adds.

I'd love to get a copy of this book from you - of course! - however will purchase it regardless.

Being an assistant pastor in a church that's heavy on social media, big on momentum, but doing with limited finance - I have found books to be INDISPENSABLE.

As my friend Trey Pennington says above, I think the way you are doing is very innovative. I have mentioned what you do a few times as an example of what I call the 'In-touch CEO', as opposed to the 'Removed CEO'

This was an awesome video - very, very good. Separates all the 'fun' and the almost incestuous nature of those global gangs and what they are actually doing for the world.

I like this guy.
