I have met more people through twitter than any other online network, and everything can be tailored to your specific interests and skills, great article

there is a lot in picking the right company or person... we first went with a large (Christian) company to later get screwed by said company and went with an individual who did exactly what we needed for less, it is a tricky business (finding a good designer/developer).

I would say it's the same reason why a lot of Christian music sucks when you compare it to the historically great musicians of our day like The Doors, Led Zepplin, or perhaps The Beatles and the like... they wrote lyrics about real life, about things that everyone struggles with where Christian music writes lyrics that only Christian people can understand but still only pertains to the ones living out the most purist of lives.

That is why you and so many like Carol's blog, it's real. I try to stay away from the stereotypical "Christian" blog lingo on my own blog to appeal to regular readers, but mine probably still sucks too :)

I need to connect you with a guy from our church who lives in China, I'll send him your site in case he doesn't already read it but he is pretty deep into the church culture in China.

I agree with some of the other comments here, Russia is testing the new administration and will keep pushing and pushing to see how far they can go... putting bombers or missiles in Cuba and Venezuela sounds a lot like what happened back in the 1960's... surely we learned something from that

well you just happen to hit on one of my biggest pet peeves ever about a blog... John Piper comes to mind immediately, but there are a few pastors that don't allow comments, and I rarely read their blogs. I wrote a post a while back called "5 Steps on How to Improve a Blog in 2009" (sorry for the self plug http://twurl.nl/6x2d2u ) and that was the last bit of my rant, allowing comments.

It doesn't bring out any positive feelings in your readers minds (at least not my mind) to not allow comments, and I rarely read blogs that don't allow comments (Seth's would be the exception but I still don't care for it).

that's GREAT, I knew Tony Morgan was using it that day, just didn't know what platform he was working with, that would be a lot better than flooding my twitter followers with a continuous stream of content for a conference but also acts like a note-taker, cool stuff
